There are many means of protection against GS lines such as:

Driving iron rods into the ground , directly over the stream from which the GS lines are emanating. Iron rods about 35cm (18ins) long are driven into the ground so the top is just below the surface on either side of the house. But the ray can move and the metal can rust . This method is of no use in flats or houses with no garden.
